A few days ago I posted an article on my blog about a short film set in Trinidad
called Doubles with Slight Pepper. Thanks to the power of social networking, I received a tweet from Ian Harnarine, the man responsible
for the short film. Needless to say I was very excited and we met for
coffee yesterday.
We chatted about the birth of the film and the prestigious awards it won in Toronto.
Because of this, his film has hit the global circuit. And with its return to Trinidad and Tobago for the film
festival, he's excited for the people of the islands to get a taste of Doubles with Slight Pepper. :)
Ian hopes to turn this into a feature film and tell his wonderful story about a family's journey around food. Here is a link on iTunes where you can purchase it and support Ian's dream and once more put Trinidad and Tobago on the map.
